SONIC SOUL!

“Me I’m not my brother keeper
I no dey send my brother
Cause we no get the same mother
Eh yea
Me I’m not my brother’s keeper
I no dey send my brother
We no get the same father
Yea
Na only me come this world”

Falz the bad guy‘s Moral Instruction is basically one of the best albums out there. It covers social, political and governance problems. “Brother’s Keeper” is no different, Falz employs the use of satire to get his message across.

Positives

A masterfully done song with a very engaging intro. The seamless blend of Demmie Vee's vocals and the instrumentals playing makes for indeed quite an interesting intro.
Satire, humour and facts, such as the structure of the lyrics. It really lets us know how some of the So-called "influential people" in society abuse their power. He talks about how everyone is basically selfish and how we really do not care for our fellow people. So much was said in the song, from Doctors needing police reports when a patient with a gunshot wound is brought in even if it's an emergency.
Also the commuting of tankers during heavy traffic hours, we only wish the government to listen to our cries through Falz and other arising music activists.

Bottom Line

A lovely song that sounds great while addressing the prominent issues Nigeria currently faces. Talk about killing two birds with one stone.
