SONIC SOUL!

This is one of the songs from Falz’s “Moral Instruction” album in which he continuously criticizes bad governance and addresses the nuances of the society.

Positives

THe song starts with an array of drums followed by Falz talking about corruption. From the intro, you can know just what this song is all about and even know that it is an Afrobeat song.
The lyrics of the song pass across its message easily. We could tell that he was talking about how corruption seems to be getting even worse, instead of it being curbed. The structure of the lyrics is not bad.
The melody of the song is pure Afrobeat and we love it, a mixture of Fela's sound and a more modern sound. The song borrowed some sounds directly from Fela.

Negatives

There is no video for the song yet.

Bottom Line

Another one of the songs in Moral Instructions that addresses bad governance and corruption. He made it clear that he did not come to make noise with club music.
