SONIC EXPERIENCE!

Erigga has announced the release of his new album titled Erriga 2. He released this song titled Fear life as a sort of forerunner for the alhum. He decided to feature Funkcleff and Iron Side in this Hip Hop/Trap song. The song talks about life experience and whatnot. Let’s dig into the review shall we?

Positives

Fear life starts with a subtle and interesting instrumental playing. The song starts on a Trap kind of vibe.
Fear Life talks about their experiences and fake lives people live on social media meanwhile they are begging for money. The lyrics of the song arr relevant and they deliver a ralatable message. The structure of lyrics are decent and we enjoyed the plot development of the song a lot. We have to confess the plot was top notch.
The vocals were clear and crisp. We had no issues with hearing what they were singing. The mixing and production was clean also, henec; the voice quality was high.
The song is a crisscross of hip/hop blended into Trap with a lot of Afro influences. The song does have richness in sound and we liked that about the song. The melody is tuneful and memorable.
The song has a nice rhythm due to the beat. The beat seemed to bring back memories of late 2000s, the black Africans and their songs back then. The beat and the song generally draws inspiration from there.

Bottom Line

If you enjoy hip hop or any of its varieties then we recommend this song for you. However, we don't see the song making people with no interest in hip hop becoming fans of the genre.
