SONIC EXPERIENCE!

Deemo, the DMW rapper is back with another rap hardcore track. Dremo is probably one of the few rappers that have not turned singer left. Sigh was released yesterday on the 8thof August. It is a pure rap song about, erm, a lot of censored content.

You can listen to the song below

Positives

The song starts with a little bit of talking and some instrumentals playing in the background. We liked how the talk transitioned to rap seamlessly,
We liked the vocals of the song. It was quite clear and concise. The vocals seemed to fit the song like a pair of gloves fit the right size of hands.
This is actually one of the very few hardcore rap songs out there. There are few rap songs out there let alone hardcore raps ith no actual singing or a blend of Afropop, Afrobeat or RnB. That's some extra points for Dremo for managing to achieve what none have in a while.

Negatives

The song is a combination of different unrelated ideas. The lyrics also contained a lot of vulgar sexual innuendoes. Generally, the song does not have any lyrical depth. The structure of the lyrics seems like the only part of the lyrics that managed o reach the average mark. The plot development on the other end is non-existent.

Bottom Line

We liked Dremo's boldness even though just a few people will be interested in this song, considering the Nigerian Music scene.
