DJ Xclusive is back with a new song, in this his new song, he features a musician as is usually the norm. He features Kizz Daniel.

Positives

A very lively beat for the intro. The intro vocals spent their time introducing themselves to us even though we already know who they are.
The lyrics of the song is basically talking about how they are forbidding misfortunes in their lives.
The vocals of the song were not distorted, however, sometimes we found ourselves struggling to try to hear what they were saying over the loud beat.
The melody of the song sounds good, not extraordinarily good, more like average good.

Negatives

The message of the song itself is not easy to translate for non-Yorubas and the other parts of the lyrics are nothing special at all. In fact, we fill indifferent about the whole thing.
Let us talk about the instrumentals, while they are well varied, they lack balance. in fact, we were not pleased with the beat at all. It was too loud and we struggled to enjoy the other parts of the song. we wish the beat had gotten a more subtle touch. It was rather too aggressive for us.
The song does not have a video and we do not know if they are planning to work on one soon. We feel the video would have been additional points for the song especially as we could not help envisaging a video in filed with a lot of dance, shaku-shaku or Zanku legwork.

Bottom Line

The beat was way too loud for us. It overshadowed the song itself and we did not particularly enjoy the song. We felt like this stifled Kizz Daniel's performance in the song.
What are your thoughts? Do you agree with us or you disagree?
