Love and Greatness, a throwback of some of DJ Neptune’s biggest hits from Greatness album and a few new tracks. Wait, our second MVP (Most Voted PLaylist) track for the day. “Wait” is well, supposed to be a love song, except it is not really. The song is suggestive with intentional ambiguous lines.

Positives

We loved the intro of the song the "greatness" cry by DJ Neptune, the subtle instrumentals and most of all Kizz Daniel's vocals. He started singing in what sounded like a South African dialect.
Kizz Daniel has got great vocals and that is a fact, we loved his vocal rendition in the song. We loved the unique sound he produced in the song. For some reasons, it did not sound like him too much (this is probably he was singing in another language for a good part of the song).
"Wait" is heavily steeped in the mainstream Afropop sound with a little influence from South African genres here and there. The song is tuneful and memorable. We enjoyed the melody and we really could not help dancing along. The song has a good rhythm also, we liked the tempo and the combination with the melody to produce an above-average harmony.
The instrumentals are great. It was obvious they drew some inspiration from South Africa and then mixed it with our more indigenous instrumentals over here. All in all, we got a varying rich beat for the song.

Negatives

"Wait" consists of a mashup of ideas. At first, we had thought it was a love song and then the next thing we knew he was calling several African countries. While we were still dealing with that he had switched to a girl named Nneka and well, asking her to do the "unthinkable'. All in all the plot development of the song is poor and we were not impressed by the structure of the lyrics at all. Even the quality of the lyrics was nothing to write home about really.
