Give them lamba

DJ Cuppy is not giving up on her musical career after one of her songs seemed like a debacle and we all thought it was going to end as a fiasco. We have got to confess that we really like her vibe and energy. She seems to be the only one promoting her music despite a lot of negative raves and reviews on Social Media. She released Gelato yesterday; she features Zlatan Ibile himself in the song. Zlatan managed to bring a very energetic vibe to the song and e have got to say, we like his input.

Positives

We really liked the intro instrumentals of the song. We loved their unique sounds blending to form a buttery smooth experience!
The vocals of the song were clear and crisp, we had no issues hearing what they were both singing. We could also say the vocals were a good fit for the song. However, we are not so sure about DJ Cuppy.
While we may not be to thrilled by the vocals of DJ Cuppy, she did manage to fit her well, style into the sound of the song.

Negatives

Okay, do not expect any lyrical depth in the song. Many are probably not going to pay much attention to this anyway. however, we do have to emphasise that well, the only meaning we could get from the song was plain old debauchery.
DJ Cuppy's vocals were weird. She sounded like a grade pupil, you know like she was still in primary school.
We can hardly call it a style as it seems like DJ Cuppy is a toddler of some sort, you know some of those teething toddlers that are still struggling to walk. Until DJ Cuppy can openly and confidently sing a whole verse by herself without hiding behind the sound of the musicians she features. Then, we can start saying she has a style of some sort.

Bottom Line

Zlatan managed to make the song sound nice enough for us to not get bored the first ten times we listened to the song. However, after then we just could not wait to finish the review.
