A song od deliberation, questioning the patience of his partner

“If I no get this money shey you go wait,
if I no get this motto shey you go stay
As I Dey work baby, no Dey complain,
as I Dey hustle baby, make we cooperate
If I no get this money shey you go wait
And if I no get this motor shey you go stay
As I Dey work baby, no Dey complain,
As I Dey hustle baby, make we cooperate”
This single is basically what we asked for while reviewing Demmi Vee’s previous single. Now the protege and mentor have come together to hopefully bless us with auricular bliss.
We waited for this song with so much expectations and we were really happy to get this collaboration.
The melody of the song is memorable and strong, we also like the rhythm and beat but we wished it varied more so the vocals could get the opportunity to shine.
Kizz Daniel sounded edgy and raw as usual, we were not too sure about Demmie Vee's vocal performance, at best he got just average in that.
While we were happy to get this collaboration from Demmie Vee and Kizz Daniel, it looked to us as if Demmie Vee was trying to hide behind the beats in this song. Which makes us wonder if he hid behind the autotune in the previous single he sang alone. If this si the trend for him we are really worried and we hope that just is not the case. While we love a song with good beats, we really do not like a song in which the beat is the most prominent part of the song, especially when it is not a rock song nor an electronic song.
We sincerely hope Dammie Vee does better in his next song.
We are excited about Demmie Vee's future in the Music Industry, we hope he rises to the pedestal he has been placed on and we do hope he actually develops is seemingly lagging but full of potentials talent.
