I no dey lie ur love dey blow my mind away,
I thank God say u come my way,
she want to tiff my heart away, see Ole, Ole ajubole”
We are overly excited about the new talent signed by Kizz Daniel’s FLYBOY INC record label. This promises a bright and auspicious future for the new act. This must have been motivated by the fact that Demmie Vee somewhat sounds like KIzz Daniel. This song is filled with sonorous sounds and obviously a love song lined with autotune. The song talks about how a girl has come to steal (tiff) away his heart. We were excited to start reviewing this song and we hope we have fun as you have fun reading.
Let us start with the autotune laced vocals, did we mind that he used autotune? Not at all! At a point, we were so carried away that we did not even notice that he was singing with autotune. I mean if it makes us forget or not even notice that Demmie Vee was using autotune in this song then is it really autotune? (don't mind us we are just trying to be cheeky). It was not T-Pain level of autotune (hey, we still loved T-Pain anyway) it was just the right amount of autotune.
The melody of the song in itself is captivating and we dare say mesmerising, we enjoyed every single part of it.
The beat did well to balance and complement the song with it's varied and engaging sound.
The video was also an interesting one, especially with the storyline. If only dreams do come true like that at the end eh Demmie Vee?
For some autotune may be a buzz killer but we really do not think it is a big deal as the overall sound of the song was great.
Great love song to listen with your significant other or a couple of miles away thinking about him/her. Or it could just be someone you have been admiring secretly, we all have that somebody. Tiff by Demmie Vee is a totally relatabale song and it has the makings of a hit song. We will definitely add it to our playlist.
