2baba recently conceded and proclaimed Brymo a whole music. He must have been overhwlmed by Brymo’s originality, consistency and the beauty of his music. Brymo had insisted that he belonged to a different world from other Nigerian Musicians and 2baba may have just agreed to that. I mean it has to count for something right? A living icon/legend has proclaimed you a whole music. That has to be overwhelming and we hope good music will continue to be appreciated on an even larger scale than ever!

Perhaps many will remember the likes of Brymo and Asa that never caved!

Positives

Ara, has a solemn serene beginning. We liked how the intro of the song progressed into the body of the song. Smooth and seamless. The intro instrumentals were classic and it gave off the impression that a beautiful song was about to come on.
Ara simply means wonders. The song talks about the wonders he wants to perform and may life and those that live in this world not change his destiny. Its quite deep and then he talks about a girl he likes and whatnot. The lyrical structure is not bad at all and the plot development is even more impressive.
Brymo has wonderful vocals. He is undoubtedly part of the reasons why Oleku became the mega hit it was! His sonorous vocals are pleasant to our ears.
Ara has a unique sound. It would be tagged what most would call alternative music. It's a blend of afro house music and semblances of Afrobeat sounds. The song is rich in melody and overall sound.
The beat of the sing is just as interesting. Subtle but effective. It produced a nice rhythm for the song.

Bottom Line

Ara is a great song and it did evoke a lot of memories. It was a national anthem back in its days.
