SONIC EXPERIENCE!

“giddem a war
if them say them want some
a bounty pon him head but me no need no ransome
giddem a war
cock me gun fee action ready fe burst a batty boy with me lyrical tantrums
giddem a war
if dem say dem want some
a bounty pon them head but me no need no ransome
giddem a war
cock me gun fe action ready to burst a batty boy with me lyrical tantrums”

Blackface is like that ex that has refused to move on after a bad break up. Especially when the Ex has gone to enjoy an unprecedented success, it even becomes more painful and they try so many methods to firstly drag their name in the mud and when they see that this doesn’t slow the momentum of their success, they change strategy and try to ride on the success of the said Ex. For us, we sincerely this as a publicity stunt and a bid to revive his not so thriving career. Who else can catch a whiff of desperation in the air eh?

Positives

The intro of the song is actually not bad it did well to transition us into the song.
The melody of the song is actually great. We surprisingly enjoyed the song, at least the melody. This is probably because of the reggae nature of the song.

Negatives

The lyrics of the song are vulgar and well, it is a diss track so we already expected that. However, we wonder about the credibility of what he says. This is information we are not privy so we will not brush aside his claims, neither will we say it is the truth.

Bottom Line

BlackFace claims 2Baba stole his song, if that were to be the case, well, remove "African Queen (the probably stolen song)" and 2Baba still has a lot of hits. Add African Queen to BlackFace and we would have probably gotten an underwhelming song that will not be evergreen as African Queen is now. However, we are not judging the situation. We encourage BlackFace to reach in for the alleged creativity that produced African queen to produce other hit songs or better still he should sue 2Baba to court if he does have a case.
