We all know the latest trend in town as regards “Slay Mamas” & “Slay Queens” well he was laying emphasis on their major means of making money, which is their back sides and (You know the rest) regarding it as the selling point and office space.
Aside from the fact that coming up with a good song on a sound-buzzing beat could be hectic, I don’t think that should give any artiste a room to just walk up to the recording mic and spill out meaningless words, in the name of releasing a track. I need an explanation to why a song would have 2,750 Youtube views since released in July 19 up till date. That is clearly lack of good lyrics, pointless message and lazy publicity team.
I give it alone to the beat, likewise the mix & mastering, recommendable to the party starters, Dj’s and Hype-men. The song can get you moving your body when in the mood to show your dance tricks. Lovers of street music are no exception.
Am very sure Base One knew quite well that the song won’t go anywhere or make it to listener’s playlist.
If you have over flowing data and you feel like listening to a beat and ignore the lyrics, probably it’s advisable you just download the instrumentals alone. The video production is crappy, “Jassy Generation” was maybe not paid well or he wasn’t motivated by the “How Market” crap that was on repeat for the whole time. The vixens in the video? They don’t cut in, the beach that was used? I don’t think the sea still brings life around there.
Base One needs to take his time and come up with something concrete, his last single with Small Doctor was a street Anthem for a long time, and we all know the music industry is about consistency, don’t make your fans feel irritated when they have to drink a tasteless wine after enjoying the best wine, trust me they won’t come back.
Hmm…
