In the early hours of Friday, the 15th of November, Alpha P was introduced to the world with a new EP titled, King of the Wolves. Alpha P is the second half of the now-defunct boy group duo, RnA, which had Rema as the other half. Alpha P has just been signed by Universal Music Group and he is set to do big things with them. Once you hear 'London' on a track, just know that a Honter genius masterpiece is about to hit your eardrums. The instrumental banged hard with groovy drum patterns and jungle-type melodies that really depicts the wolf persona that Alpha is trying to create for himself. Alpha's soothing vocals have a blend of Wurld and Rema's vocal dexterity. His cadence and delivery were perfect for the instrumental. The song is all-round catchy and easy to sing along to.
The song lacked lyrical content. The stereotypical message of Nigerian music was out once again. Praising ladies that are endowered is the order of the day for an average Nigerian Artist. We expected more from Alpha, but he is still a Nigerian and that has always been in the Afro-pop music culture.
This tune is groovy and soundstroke definitely recommends
