Plot Synopsis

An afro-hiphop record

Verses

2

Ajebutter, BOJ, and Falz team up to serve us a joint EP titled, Make E No Cause Fight 2, a sequel to the 2018-released EP, Make E No Cause Fight. Ronaldo is the third track of the EP and the record was produced by Studio Magic.

Listen below:

Positives

A groovy tune this is. Ronaldo is the kind of song you would want to listen to with a couple of friends in a bar, bottles on the table, and y'all just vibing. Studio made his regular afro-hiphop instrumental, with wavy drum riffs, and solo bass melodies. Falz laid a simple and catchy chorus that everyone can sing-along to. Falz added his comical persona to this record, as his verses were corny and funny.

Negatives

Over the years, this particular vibe has constantly been repeated. This is not a different case. The song lacked originality. The song sounded like Falz owned the song and he decided to hire BOJ and Ajebutter for a feature. BOJ and Butter went off on this song, literally! Their vocal energy and timbre didn't fit the song. They seemed lazy recording this song.
