2baba decided to rally his fellow musicians to lend a voice for democracy. Everybody in the song made sure to represent their region in Nigeria and they make it clear that the power is in our hand. How the next four years will play out.
The song starts with an instrumental, Waje's sonorous vocals in the background and a stern warning from 2Baba discouraging selling of votes. It was a nice combo really and we did enjoy every part of it.
The lyrics of the song are great, it highlights the democratic problems we have here in Nigeria. Especially with the elections coming. This issue had to be addressed and we do hope their message will be passed across to the mass accordingly.
We enjoyed the vocals of the song, it was lovely and a mixture of several sonorous tones. From Waje to Teni and Cobhams, their renditions were wonderful.
Melodic, memorable and tuneful: these are the qualities of the song. It did well to combine with the rhythm of the song thereby giving us a great harmony.
