Lussh Beatz, the producer behind Kizz Daniel’s 2019 hit Madu, is here with his own single. He teams up with Chocolate City’s CKay and Starboy’s Terri to create a song titled, Eleven Over Ten. Listen below:
The song started with a simple guitar riff of the highlife genre that puts you in an owambe mood, followed by bouncy kicks that will make you nod your head. The instrumental was groovy and you could vibe it virtually anywhere. CKay's unique singing style came through once again. His smooth legato harmony carried the song.
Why do I feel like when producers start working on their discography, they give themselves the least exciting beats from their pack? The instrumental was really boring and un-Lussh-like. I mean, I've heard better beats from Lussh. Way better! The song was bang average and there was nothing climactic about the song. The sound is too common, as we have heard it countless times. The plot used in this song is too common, I mean c'mon! This is 2019 and men are still pressed on the endowment of a lady? There are more pressing issues, to be honest.
