Presently one of the most listened ep right now, ILGWT has been received with lots of downloads and replays. Early last year, Sadiq Onifade, professionally known as Wurld, teamed up with music producer, Osabuohien Osaretin professionally known as Sarz, to give a dope single which they titled ‘Trobul’. Trobul got our attention because it was something quite unusual. Ever since the duo has been working together on projects which resulted in an Ep (ILGWT). ILGWT was released on 8th November 2019 If you haven’t heard about this e.p or listened to any of the tracks, you probably have been living in the past…lol.
Both artists told us a story with an Ep, ‘I Love Girls with Trobul’ is an expression of up’s and downs in relationships with different track with a different subject. The eight tracks Ep is different from the regular afro-beat feel, Sarz was different on this one. The production had a western feel to it, blended with African vibes. The production also has that Afro-pop advancement, it has that global sound in it, Sarz is definitely redefining Afro sound and taking it to the world.
Wurld did excellent with his vocals, as the delivery was top notch. Wurld sounded Original on this project. Some of the star tracks of the Ep are Track 2 (Trobul), Track 3 (Sweat), Track 5 (Mad) and Track 8 (Sade). The entire ep can be summarized with one word 'Trobul'
The entire Ep has so much Foriegn feel over it; it is a project that the common person on the street won’t be able to relate to. It can be argued that Sarz was influenced by foreign producers like Calvin Harris, and Diplo. Most tracks from the Ep follow a particular mid-tempo between a 90- 115bpm. After listening for a long time, some of the tracks would start to sound alike.
