Plot Synopsis

Afro-Fusion, RnB

Talented producer, singer, and songwriter on the 28th of May 2020 released her project, ‘Four’, ‘Four’ houses four RnB tracks with production credits from Dunnie, Zaki Magic, Tuzi, Androbeats among others.

Positives

After the release of her previous project, 'Seven' which showed her music flexibility and dexterity, Dunnie proved she has more to offer as she released 'Four', which housed four simple tracks each barely reaching three minutes. Dunnie was intentional on this project, the vibe, lyrics, rhythm were all cut from the same fabric. Four is a fusion of Afro, alternate, and RnB, with each track having its own love story. The Production was simple, no complications, simple guitar melodies, major chords, regular Afro-RnB chords, and smooth RnB vocals.

Negatives

As beautiful as the tracks sounded, we couldn't pick any exciting or new sound there, it sounded ordinary and something any up-coming act can put together. All four tracks sounded like they were cut from the same fabric, at some point, we could predict how the next song would begin and end.
