Early last year, Talented Mavin’s artist, Crayon released his ep which he titled,’Cray Cray’. The six-track ep featured no one but himself with top-notch production from London, Ozedikus among others. Read our thoughts on the six-track ep.
Crayon was signed shortly after Rema was signed to Mavin Records. Crayon shares his colorful sounds to the world. 'Cray Cray' is his debut ep. The six-track ep has top-notch production from talented producers and mix engineers from the likes of Baby Fresh, London, and Ozedikus.
Crayon sounds on this project have that Afro-vibe and urban feel which we can relate to. The lyrics and vocal delivery are above average, it sounded like he has been doing this for a decade. The structure of the ep is slightly above average. the ep seemed to have been targeted at the local market, something the layman can relate to.
Some of the tracks we recommend you to listen to are Track 1 (So nice), Track 4 (Gock am) Track 5 (Confidence) and Track 6 (Aye o)
Listening to Crayon's vocal one would deduct that his alto ego is Wizkid, as he sounded like Starboy Wizkid on his ep.
Nice production and structure, but the sounds sound cliche. This is an ep you could use to do house chores.
