Nigerian rapper, Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, professionally known as Vector, on the 26th of November, 2019 released his fourth studio album which he titled ‘Vibes before t.e.s.l.i.m’. Vibes before teslim is said to be the fourth studio album before his fifth.
After listening to this album, it is safe to say, vector didn't disappoint. Vibes before Teslim is an album that projects Vector's inner thoughts, being a philosopher, Vector talks about some issues disturbing humans. Vibes before Teslim cuts across Love, imperfections, relationships, drugs, sex, and depression.
The production, lyrics, organization, and structure of vibes before Teslim is quite impressive. Each track had a link to the next, it was like he was telling a story. The ten-track album showed us three sides to Vector, The thinker, introspective, and the extrovert.
Some of the star tracks we think you should listen to are
Track 1 (Your Biology Is Sending You To Hell),
Track 2 (Vector’s Vibe),
Track 3(Comfort (feat. Davido)),
Track 6 (Alaye Jor Jor Jor),
Track 8 (The Man With a Gun (feat. BrisB)).
The album sounded like Vector had to get something off his chest, He sounded quite angry on some tracks. Some of the tracks are influenced by international rappers, Kendrick Lamer, Eminem, and Kanye West. There weren't quite original, just a remake with Nigerian vibes.
